Bulls forward Otto Porter Jr. is an athletic player who has the ability to go off and drop 30 points every once in a while. But let's reiterate, every once in a while.

His injuries have forced him to miss huge portions of his last two seasons in Chicago, which hasn't been of any help to the Bulls, a team that has been plagued by injuries in general.

It's time for the Bulls to trade Porter. They must capitalize on his market value now before he gets another back injury which could turn off potential teams' interests.

Porter has had some great moments where he's shown off a promising skill set, like the night he scored a career-high 37 points in a win against the Memphis Grizzlies back in February 2019.

That first season he played with the Bulls, he averaged 17.5 points per game. That's been the highlight of his career thus far, since he's spent most of his last couple years sidelined due to his chronic back issues and other injuries.

Porter has only played 47 games with the Bulls since they acquired him from the Washington Wizards in 2019. In exchange for Porter, the Bulls traded Bobby Portis and Jabari Parker to the Wizards.

Porter started 30 games total in three seasons with the Bulls. His career averages are 11.0 points per game, 5.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists.

This season, Porter transitioned to a bench role. Once the Bulls selected rookie forward Patrick Williams with the fourth overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, Williams took the starting role and has been impressive since.

Therefore, the Bulls' front office must be making deals right now, while the NBA's front-office executives still appreciate Porter's abilities.

The Ringer's Kevin O'Connor reported that the Golden State Warriors have interest in Porter.

If the Warriors are legitimately interested in acquiring Porter, he could help them as long as he stays healthy. He's a pretty consistent 3-point shooter and can be a nice addition to help them get into the NBA Playoffs. The Warriors are currently 19-19 in a very competitive Western Conference.

If Bulls' executive vice president Artūras Karnišovas pulls off this deal with the Warriors, it would create a lot more room financially to bring in players who could be more beneficial to the Bulls. The top priority for the Bulls would be finding a player that can stay healthy and consistent in the rotation, while also bringing in good defensive skills to add to the team.
