Meet Bella

I am currently finishing up my master's degree in sports journalism at DePaul University, where I also received my bachelor's degree in sports journalism. I most recently covered the 2020 NBA All-Star Weekend in Chicago before the pandemic hit and changed our lives. I've interviewed greats like Charles Barkley and rising stars like Luka Doncic, Trae Young, Ja Morant, Zion Williamson and more. Beyond covering the NBA, I also cover college basketball, specifically the DePaul Blue Demons. I am fluent in four languages: English, Spanish, Assyrian and Italian, so I look to expand audiences and break barriers wherever I go.

I grew up in a household full of die-hard Bulls fans. Being a Chicagoan, I've been a Bulls fan my whole life. My mom almost named me Jordan -- my name would've been Jordan Michaels --  I would've loved that.
